On the eve of one of the brightest Bulgarian holidays, thousands of Bulgarians protested against the ruling mafia and the Prosecutor General of the Republic.

The protest was organized by the non-governmental association "Justice for Everyone". This European country, known for its poor population and unprecedented corruption among all ruling parties, is often subject of criticism from the European Union, of which Bulgaria itself is. The disgruntled dragged a doll of the Prosecutor General with the sign “civil dismissal”.

The protest march took place at 18.30 h from the Bulgarian Parliament building and passed on Ruski Blvd between the Presidency and the Council of Ministers and ended at the Courts of Justice, where the Prosecutor General's Office is also housed[d1] .  Citizens chanted "Reforms", "Mafia is in power", "Tsatsarov "resignation" (Prosecutor General).

The protesters  waved the Bulgarian and European flags and wore posters entitled "Citizens Against the Mafia", "Reforms" and the portrait of the Italian legend in justice - Judge Giovanni Falconi. The date of the protest is symbolically chosen - today is blasted in his car to Palermo, the anti-mafia fighter in Italy, the symbol of this fight in the world.
